Baby Peri: My Inspiration

This is why I decided to focus on Newborn Photography. These tiny fingers and tiny toes are part of my family, and family is my everything. When my first child was born, I was not a photographer. I certainly loved my tiny girl with every fiber of my being and believed she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, but I wasn't yet capable of capturing the beauty I saw in her. I tried. I took some pictures of her with my camera when she was 2 weeks old. They were okay, and I treasured them; I am truly glad that I took thousands of photos of her. But still, I knew better when my second and third babies arrived. I invested in gorgeous photos of them both, photos I proudly display in my home of my beautiful children. I have since immersed myself in the study of photography. I have been determined to take amazing photos of my children. And then when my cousin told me she was pregnant with her first child, it became my goal to get her the great images I had always wished I could have gotten of my first. Meet Peri. She is family. Family and a love of beauty are my inspiration for everything I do.
